This is the storm as shown on the NOAA base reflectivity page...
And this is the sweet corn in the garden the next morning. All in all, pretty disappointing, but then again... We lost some sweet corn. No one is hurt and the house didn't blow down.
It's hard to say what it took to wreck the corn. The news has talked in the 80 to 90 mph range...
I'll give it a few days to see if any of the bent stuff stands back up and goes ahead... then.. doesn't cost much to poke new seeds in the dirt and see what happens from there...
The onions got all mangled up too, but in the end they'll be fine. The electricity was out from 6pm to 5am. That's a big night at our place... It's back on now and the sump pump is going for broke on it's job...
