Wheat From Montana

I bought this setup off of ebay from some fine folks in China. The end of the stretchy cord goes into the camera (Canon 30D, or other compatible camera). The block end that is on the other end of the cord has a battery and a couple push buttons. You could hold that end and push those buttons to take pictures...

Or... Hold on to that thing with the antenna and take remote pictures. Imagine the whole family in the shot with Me pushing the button on the remote behind my back... or so goes the theory...

It took about 40 days to come from the folks in China. Otherwise it's cheap enough and seems to work.

I got a shipment from the nice folks at the farm in Montana (my brother and his family). A whole bunch of spring wheat, winter wheat and lentils. Thankfully the box was taped shut well enough that it all stayed inside the 4 walls. Unfortunately, many of the ziplocks had holes in them and most of the wheat all bleneded together. That won't impact the end product which is for me to grind it into wheat flour and make breadmaker bread.

The post office probably didn't expect anyone to fill the box with bricks in the "If it fits, it ships" promotion. This is somewhere on that end of the scale at some 25 to 40 pounds.
