Wisconsin Dells, Indoor Water Park - Treasure Island.
These are some shots from the Treasure Island indoor water park resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
This is what the hotel part of it looks like.
They have a huge outdoor water park, a huge outdoor roller coaster park and a huge indoor roller coaster, bumper cars type park.
That's some paint job. Most of the downstairs is this way too.
The lowdown: If you have unlimited funds and are only coming to Wisconsin Dells for one time in your life go to Kalahari indoor water park. It's simply huge and the best there is to offer. We went to that one last year and it was pretty excellent. But, we've been there and now we tried this one. It's smaller, fewer rides, but it's still a ton of fun. It's more relaxing, slower paced and you don't have to stand in line at all, or for just one or two people. At Kalahari, you'll get 2 to 10 minute wait times most of the time. I imagine next time we go, we'll try the Great Wolf Lodge or something to hit yet another different one. This just makes for a fun weekend.
Must do: Eat at least one evening dinner at The House of Embers restaurant. If you like ribs at all, get the full rack and take half for breakfast the next day. I'll be surprised if I ever find ribs where I'd say they are better than these. If you are not into the ribs, there are many other selections from their fine dining menu.
